Announcement: New Ideas and Insta

I apologize for being MIA for the past few months... I have been very busy with studies namely thesis. However, I am enjoying the holidays and the vacation. I seriously need the R & R! Anyways, I wish to greet you all a very belated MERRY CHRISTMAS! I also wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you are enjoying your holidays with your loved ones.

For the past few months, I have constantly thought about making vlogs or video blogs since I am quite busy with studies thus I would like to introduce to all of you Sharm's Notes. I plan to make this like a web series but I need to test run it first since I do not have the fancy cameras thus I ended up shooting my video on the MacBook Air's built-in camera in which I am not certain it would play on PC or Windows.

I made a YouTube account already but the problem is I still need to edit the video and upload it which by the way takes so long... Can someone tell me how to upload a video to YouTube? I plan to use iMovie to upload the video to YouTube but it does take so long. For now, I'll just make a written Sharm's Notes by reviewing some beauty products, etc.

For now, I will share to you a video I posted on my Instagram (@xoxosharm24)... The video shows some beauty products and a watch that I got from my Aunt when she went to U.S.A. Enjoy!

I am also going to share my outfit for my 20th Birthday last November 24, 2013. Goodness me, I am 20 years old... No longer a "teenager" but a young adult/lady.

Dress: ???; Watch: Citizen; Bangle/Bracelet: Celine (CLN)

I want to clarify something... The Celine Bangle I am wearing here is different from the French Luxury Brand Céline. The Celine brand I am talking about here is based in the Philippines where the logo of the brand is usually the three consonant letters "CLN". 

I like wearing this dress because of the fact that it puts emphasis on my waist than my hips because I do have a small waist but my hips are big. That is why, this dress is perfect for curvy girls that wants to emphasize their waist.

I am sorry that I cannot remember the brand of the dress and I can no longer check the tag because I have given away this gorgeous dress. I do some spring cleaning on my closet once in a while to get rid of old clothes and make room for new clothes that I have bought and will be buying...

Anyways, I still have many photos on my laptop to show you and I better start shooting more outfit photos. Soon, you will know more about the outfit I am wearing in my blog's banner.

Cool Sleeves

I have been meaning to share these photos but ever since the term started I have been very busy so to celebrate my 19th Birthday, I decided that I must figure a way to fit blogging in my super hectic schedule and here they are:

Isn't the sleeves so cool? My grandmother bought it for me when she went to China. Amazingly sweet of her... She really does have a taste for fashion but then again what can you expect. After all she knows how to sew and make clothes.

Just look closely at the photos above and see how different the sleeves are from an ordinary sleeved shirt. When I got it, I was so confused on how to wear it and I actually thought that something must be wrong with it. *Laughs*

Anyways, I want to greet my friend an advance happy birthday. Her birthday is tomorrow (November 25).

I am keeping this post short but I hope you enjoy your day...

Light, Lace, Maxi Dress

Last Sunday (September 2, 2012) I went to the mall along with my family... I decided to wear my first ever maxi dress that my mom bought for me from Mark & Spencer.

By the way, the photos below are taken at home... *Laughs*

I apologize for the photo above because I just crawled out of bed and was in a hurry to get dress... *Laughs* My hair is not even fix yet. *Sigh*

I am not sure what I was doing here please forgive my oddness... *Laughs*

I really regret not wearing a belt to accentuate my waist but it was very hot and humid that day and I was to lazy to get my belt and felt like leaving it hanging loose. *Sigh* The good thing about this is I was able to hide my fats... If you are self-conscious like me, then wear loose clothes so that your fats will be hidden. There's a trick I learn from a friend but make sure it is not too loose.

Another reason why I did not wear a belt is because of the design under the bust... If you look closely there seems to be a garter under the bust to make it tight around that area so I could not decide whether to put the belt on my waist or under my bust. *Laughs* So many decisions. Oh well! I can experiment where to put the belt next time when I wear this dress again.

The bag, bracelet/bangle and watch have been featured on my blog before (here). It really is my go-to accessories... I really love them!

The shoes I'm wearing here is very worn-out since I been wearing them practically every single Sunday when we go to the mall or pretty much anywhere. It is so comfy, easy to wear and remove, and useful. You cannot see it well in the photo but the shoes is colored gold and silver so it is very useful in the sense that you can pretty much match it to everything. The down side is the suede material of the insole or inner sole of the shoes because if you wear it for an entire day it turns black. Aerosoles is very sturdy though. I think it has been with me for more than two years now.

Anyways, there are details on the bottom of the dress that looks like leaves... I think.

The cut of the dress is actually uneven so it is really awesome. Short on the front, long at the back.

How awesome is this... You surely will not feel that hot anymore which is very perfect for the weather than day. Sleeveless and lace upper back.

The color is very nice too. The light tie dye is very interesting and fun...

I really like this dress a lot! I should buy more maxi dresses. *Just a thought*

This watch is a free given to my dad after he both some boxes of cigars at Duty Free. For a record, I do not encourage smoking... I do not like it at all because it is dangerous! My dad is the only one that smokes. *Sigh* Anyways, the watch is really gorgeous!

The bag is my go-to bag so it is pretty worn-out since I used it a lot! It is really spacey and big. It is so useful! I really love this bag! By the way, we got this bag for free for buying Maiden Form lingerie.

3.V.0.7 Fall In Love Chocolate Necklace

Okay, I found a new necklace that I totally fell in love with and here it is...

Isn't it gorgeous? I know I really want to have one of this... If only I have money! Oh money problems! One problems of being a Literature Major student. *Laughs* Do not get me wrong. I love my course but money is really a problem. However, most or all of us have money problems. *Sigh* Anyways, back to the necklace created by none other than VanNess Wu. He really is a very talented man. Just saying.

Look at the inside of the heart... Amazing! Completely in awe at the moment. I cannot stop looking at this picture. I heart it so much! I found this on an online shop called "Ohh my Style" which features a lot of products from adults to kids and from women to men so I really think you will enjoy shopping in this site.

I am not sure exactly what it is called or named since the name is somehow long... Google Chrome translated it from Chinese to English so the necklace is called "Fall in Love with Chocolate (O. Love) [Beloved Full] Necklace". I think the real name is "O. Love" though I am not that sure...


This site and VanNess Wu was featured in my blog before and the post is entitled as "VanNess Wu's 3.V.0.7 Jewelry".


I shall now give you a brief information on VanNess Wu. He used to be a part of this Taiwanese boy band called "F4" that was later changed into "JVKV" based on the initials of the band members namely Jerry Yan, VanNess Wu, Ken Chu and Vic Chou. Each member had started to do solo projects after F4 and now we see VanNess Wu as a singer, actor, dancer, model and so much more. Now, we can add designer. I suggest you check out his designs both on Ohh my Style and Carte Blanche X. I also suggest that you check out the other products being sold in both sites.

吳建豪是很英俊! (I apologize if grammar is not good. Ever since I graduated from high school which was March of 2010, I have not practice my Chinese, namely Mandarin, as much as I want to. *Laughs*)

Anyways, I have been thinking about posting about my night regimen just to balance out a previous post entitled "My Morning Regimen Must" so I guess I will be posting about it soon when I get the time... I am really busy lately with my studies. *Sigh* Oh well! That is university life for you.
