3rd Day Outfit of the Day: Taiwan

I went to Taiwan last December 22-29, 2014. It was a lot of fun since I have been so stressed on December 2013 and last year due to my Thesis. Finally! I officially graduated last year on June 14, 2014. However, I would like to apologize about the lack of update on any of my blogs even after I graduated.... Looking for a full-time job is not as easy as you think (especially as a Literature major where people tend to limit this course to reading, writing, editing, teaching and the like. I am aware my course can do business as well such as marketing). Anyways, I have yet to finish editing the video for Sharm's Notes so for now, my outfits when I travel abroad.

I have not travel outside of the country for a long time now so I am extremely happy that I got to travel abroad. How I miss Taiwan! Our first four days we were at Tai Chung then the next four days we went to Taiwan. This is when we were at Tai Chung.

By the way, I was not able to take a photo of my second day outfit due to the fact that it sort of resembles the outfit I wore later on my trip. I also have yet to upload my first day outfit on my Instagram (@xoxosharm24)... I'll be uploading it soon. As for my outfit for the rest of the trip, I have already uploaded it on my Instagram (@xoxosharm24).

I only took one photo for each day so sorry for the limited photo. I was at the hotel when I took this photo thus I was not wearing my shoes... My shoes all throughout the trip is my Skechers rubber shoes. You will see it when I post my first day outfit in Taiwan. Also, I know I have already posted a photo of it on my Instagram and here on the blog... Check my "Some Shoes on My Instagram" post. Pop of Color

I took these photos when I had to get ready in 15 minutes... I decided to just grab a nice dress and a wonderful pair of shoes to match. I am sorry that I forgot to take pictures of my bag! I was really in a hurry to leave my house. That is why, I opted for a simple, casual look.

By the way, let me tell you about this shoes... It is just gorgeous! I really love the splash of colors on the wedge heels because the blue matches my dress while the red, creme and green adds color to my dress. Wearing red shoes can really make a woman feel nice and confident!

Before I forget, I would also like to apologize for my lack of accessorizing or rather for no accessorizing at all. I was really in a rush to leave.

Announcement: New Ideas and Insta

I apologize for being MIA for the past few months... I have been very busy with studies namely thesis. However, I am enjoying the holidays and the vacation. I seriously need the R & R! Anyways, I wish to greet you all a very belated MERRY CHRISTMAS! I also wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you are enjoying your holidays with your loved ones.

For the past few months, I have constantly thought about making vlogs or video blogs since I am quite busy with studies thus I would like to introduce to all of you Sharm's Notes. I plan to make this like a web series but I need to test run it first since I do not have the fancy cameras thus I ended up shooting my video on the MacBook Air's built-in camera in which I am not certain it would play on PC or Windows.

I made a YouTube account already but the problem is I still need to edit the video and upload it which by the way takes so long... Can someone tell me how to upload a video to YouTube? I plan to use iMovie to upload the video to YouTube but it does take so long. For now, I'll just make a written Sharm's Notes by reviewing some beauty products, etc.

For now, I will share to you a video I posted on my Instagram (@xoxosharm24)... The video shows some beauty products and a watch that I got from my Aunt when she went to U.S.A. Enjoy!

I am also going to share my outfit for my 20th Birthday last November 24, 2013. Goodness me, I am 20 years old... No longer a "teenager" but a young adult/lady.

Dress: ???; Watch: Citizen; Bangle/Bracelet: Celine (CLN)

I want to clarify something... The Celine Bangle I am wearing here is different from the French Luxury Brand Céline. The Celine brand I am talking about here is based in the Philippines where the logo of the brand is usually the three consonant letters "CLN". 

I like wearing this dress because of the fact that it puts emphasis on my waist than my hips because I do have a small waist but my hips are big. That is why, this dress is perfect for curvy girls that wants to emphasize their waist.

I am sorry that I cannot remember the brand of the dress and I can no longer check the tag because I have given away this gorgeous dress. I do some spring cleaning on my closet once in a while to get rid of old clothes and make room for new clothes that I have bought and will be buying...

Anyways, I still have many photos on my laptop to show you and I better start shooting more outfit photos. Soon, you will know more about the outfit I am wearing in my blog's banner.

Hoodie + Dark

¡Hola! It has been a while... I have been very busy with my studies for the past few months but finally summer break.

I was under a lot of stress from January until two weeks ago so I could not do any blog posts here. Being a Literature major is challenging cause it does take up a lot of our time. However, I still have fun since I love Literature and I learned a lot like the Spanish language. *Smile*

Anyways, I had these photos for a while now and I have been wanting to post it ever since.

I must apologize for not knowing the brand of my Jeans and Top cause the Top was bought by my grandmother in China while the jeans... I seriously just forgot. So sorry! I would also like to apologize that I did not took a photo of my shoes cause I already remove them when I took the photos. For the record, I got home late that night and I have already remove my shoes because I was already tired. I was wearing the CMG-Matthews Black Suede Flats (you can see it here) with this outfit but you can also wear heels or boots with these kind of outfits.

By the way, this is one of my university outfit!

Anyways, you can see the top has an uneven cut that makes it interesting and nice at the same time. It works well for fitted jeans or jeggings (jeans + leggings) because the top is loose. Here is a little tip: If you have a loose top, wear a fitted bottom. It balances out cause if both top and bottom are loose, you might look sloppy. Another thing to note is if you wear a tight and fitted top and bottom, you might also look like you are being restrain and uncomfortable. It is always important to balance your outfit LOOSE + FITTED!

Forgive the poor quality photo... If you noticed, I am not wearing any shoes. *Laughs* The reason behind that is because I took these photos when I got home from university and it was so late already! By the time I took these photos, I have already removed my shoes. In a way, the reason for the photos being a little dark is because it was already night time when I took them.

This shirt is actually from my High School... I bought it from a friend that was a member of our High School Social Science club. The Social Science club made this shirt for charity meaning every shirt they sell, the money goes to the charity.

I am pretty much cramming my Christmas list. I just bought the presents for my friends last Sunday and I haven't even wrapped them. I should really finalize my Christmas list... *Laughs*

Apple + Green

This is one of my usual outfit when I go to university...

Top: ??; Jeans: ??

The reason why I do not know where my clothes are from is because we buy them from a small store that sells clothes from China and mostly Korea for an acceptable price meaning not too expensive and not too cheap. To be honest, there is a "Made in Korea" writing on my jeans. I really do not mind whether it is from Korea or China because it is very comfortable and light. The price is not bad either. I will always prioritize quality over anything else since I do have very sensitive skin. The quality of my outfit here is pretty good.

I like to wear loose tops and jeans when I go to my classes because I am so stress out already and wearing a loose top makes me feel calmer. I do not really mind if I wear my clothes over and over again because I actually run-out of clothes to wear after my first year of stay in the university. It is not like I do not have enough clothes rather I need to comply to the dress code of my university. Another reason why I keep on wearing the same thing is that I do not prepare them in the evening because I depend on my mood for my outfit. When I wake up in the morning, my mood is not the same with my mood last night so I always end up returning the clothes (mostly the top, not the jeans) that I have brought out last night and just ended up grabbing a new top then wear it.

Yes, this is how I pick out my clothes. I based them on my mood and whatever I can grab. I do not have that much time to think in the morning what I want to wear because I am still sleepy and too lazy to think about it. When it is a weekday, meaning I have to go to university and attend classes, my mindset is simple: "As long as I look put together and descent on the outside, that is enough for me." I hide my stress inside. If you ask my friends, no matter how many times I say I am stress I never look like I am. *Laughs* This will be a useful trick for me in the future.

By the way, there is a design on the right back pocket of my jeans:

Is the design cute? I must apologize for the lacking stick-on shiny thing... The jeans are so worn out already! Every time it gets wash, the stick-on shiny thing falls out. *Laughs*
